Save the Kid Fund
FREEDOM PROGRAM
Cycle Riding Party December 18, 2004
Two more parties like this one were held the following year. To date more than 80 special bikes have been given to children with disabilities.
Save the Kid Fund FREEDOM PROGRAM provided
adaptive cycles of all kinds to 18 Connecticut children at a special
riding party. The party was held at Connecticut College in a room large enough to ride in.
Several cycle specialists from Bike-On.Com were there to answer parents questions and ensure
the bikes were properly sized for each child. Each child was given a helmet and
instructions on proper bike riding safety. After all the intructions they were cut
loose to ride .. below are photos of the action.
